The Antisana volcano that in Cañari Antisana
or Antizana (native language) means lamb or
dark mountain: It is an active volcano that
has grown on a previous boiler and according
to scientific calculations is approximately
800,000 years. The flow of lava that is in the
environs is not product of an eruption but are
just some licks that went through the cracks
of the mountain.
