Rainforest 

This colorful region is home to many surprising species of flora and fauna, which the traveler can discover on exploring the reserves, parks and natural zones of this part of the continent.

his natural space is full of color and enchantment. It's a place which can be explored without ever stopping. A jewel bathed in torrential rains….To admire, to get to know, to search for the surprising fauna that slip away amongst the fertile vegetation, where precious flowers such as the orchid are to be found in abundance.

Rare animals can be found here, such as the capibara (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris) -the biggest rodent in the world - the otter (Lutra longicaudis), the jaguar (Panthera onca), the black cayman (Melanosuchus Níger), the river wolf (Pteronura brasiliensis), the maquisapa (Ateles paniscus chamek), the charapa (Podocnemis expansa), the toucan (Ramphastidae), and the tapir (Tapirus terrestris).

The sloth (Bradypus variegatus) can also be found, as can the spectacled bear (Tremarctos ornatus), spider monkey (Ateles paniscus), yacaré (Caiman yacare), puma (Puma concolor), manatee (Trichechus manatus manatus), swamp crocodile (Crocodylus moreletti), and yellow headed parrot (Amazona oratrix), amongst others.
